This notice explains the limited information used by the Travel Extraordinaire website and the choices available to you.

The responsible party is Travel Extraordinaire (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/698134/07, of Thornhill Office Park, 94 Bekker Road, Vorna Valley, Midrand, 1686, South Africa. 2. Information we use

  • Trip inputs: departure point, destination, dates, party size and planning preference entered into the planner.
  • Saved plan: if you select “Save this plan”, those inputs are stored in your browser on that device. They are not sent to a Travel Extraordinaire customer database by this feature.
  • Technical records: the hosting service may process ordinary security and access logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp.
  • Outbound link data: an affiliate provider may receive the destination page, referral identifier and information you deliberately submit on its site.

The planner does not ask for passport details, payment card information or a traveller account.

3. Why information is used

Information is used to provide the requested planning experience, remember a plan when you ask us to, protect and operate the website, measure valid referrals, meet legal duties and investigate misuse. Any later analytics, marketing or account features must be reflected in an updated notice and, where required, an appropriate consent choice.

4. Independent provider websites

When you continue to a provider, its own privacy notice applies. Providers may operate outside South Africa and process information in other countries. Review the provider’s privacy and cookie notices before submitting personal or payment information.

5. Retention and security

You can remove a locally saved plan by clearing this site’s browser storage. Hosting security logs are retained only for the period reasonably required for operations, security and legal compliance, subject to the hosting provider’s controls. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards will be maintained, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

6. Your rights

Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may request access to or correction or deletion of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw a consent, or complain to the Information Regulator. Send privacy and Information Officer requests to enquiries@travelextraordinaire.co.za.

7. Children and direct marketing

This service is intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children. Marketing messages will require an appropriate legal basis and a working opt-out; no email-marketing signup is enabled on the current website.
